X-Line Package Retrofitted, Finally!:)

As some of the members might remember, I left my car to dealer for routine maintenance a month ago and they crashed the car from the driver's door. I asked them to offer me a new X1 with a subsidized price but we couldn't agree on the price. At last, they changed the door panel with no charge and I wanted them to retrofit x-line package at no charge Here are the photos with X-Line + style 319 rims. I was thinking of changing my rims with 322, but I think 319 rims and X-Line matched perfectly. Sorry for the cell phone quality photos and dirty car I'll shoot HD photos as soon as the weather is shiny.

Looks just like mine, minus the rear windows tint.

Well, I don't dislike the original trim though, with the black roof racks...

They did not change the full X-line package for you!

The X-line should include a "silver" window strips on the bottom part of all side windows....i don't have the photo here but you can check it from the web

I'm not sure about that. The X-line package in Australia does not include the window strips.

Also,

My MY2010 xDrive20d with X-line has black grill fins and not the silver ones. I think that the 23d and 25i get the silver ones.

See here an ad for a 2010 xdrive20d with X-line which matches what I have for x-line.
http://www.drive.com.au/used-cars/BM...005209670&pt=1

Perhaps x-line varies by market and model year

Yes, same here. Flat black grille "kidneys", no chrome trim on windows on our XLine.

Hi guys, thank you all for your good wishes That was really a happy ending Actually, I left the car to dealer since it is a kilometer away from the airport and I was going to İstanbul, when I came back the other day I found the car fitted with the X-Line I'm still watching the car from the windows

@GT888 As Gatekeeper and yohans mentioned, chrome window elements are not a part of the X-Line option, it comes with the 23d, 25i and 28i engines standard. Same for the kidney grills. I removed and painted mine

@OliNZ I don't know the exact number but it must be something around 60%. Cabin is visible under bright sunlight but it is barely visible when the weather is cloudy or it gets dark.

You're right, non X-Line plus black rails option is also perfect. Makes the car look more like an off-roader I'm keeping the old parts in garage I think this car has to be ordered either with xline + alu rails or non-xline + black rails. I don't like the look of it without rails.

I also have the same combination of X-Line plus aluminium roof rails (in a black body) and i think it fits perfectly to the character of the X1. It gives more sportive look.

Here in Spain, X-Line package also does not include windows strips. But each country is a different packaging world.. I think in some countries it comes with sport suspesion..

I'm wondering to retrofit x-line mirrors..

It is the mirror cap in silver. They cannot be ordered from factory. I also checked them while dealer was ordering the parts and they were nearly 300 Euros each Bottom X-Line parts were 600 in total. I think either those caps are very special or my dealer messed up the price.

Hi Mozdal,

Ouch, 300 Euros sound very steep for tin covers. Do you know whether they are shiny or brushed like the existing trim?
