E84 window reset

Hi, I have a 2013 BMW X1 E84. My battery ran out a couple days ago. After a charge its fine now but theres an issue with drivers window. Doing the 1 touch, the window rolls up but when gets to the top it rolls back down a few inches. Its fine when rolling down. Ive searched online and I believe the window needs resetting. Ive followed the instructions from different sites. Some say to roll window down and keep switch pressed for 5 seconds or 15 seconds and then do the same going upwards but after doing this I still have same issue.

Does anyone know what Im doing wrong? Is there a difference for resetting a X1/E84?

Thanks

BMW X1 should be based off E90. Have you try this procedures in the below site? Hope this works out for you.

I''m going to have to try this, my car auto downs the window, but the auto up feature has never worked.

Have you tried going to an official BMW dealer? I think they can restore your car's windows and seat settings. I always had a similar situation. I got flooded, and after replacing the battery, I lost all the saved settings in my car. I had to spend a lot of my time reinstalling them, so I went to an official dealer so they maybe can restore them. Luckily they could do it, and I didn't have to spend time and do it on my own. THey also got me some shades from https://snapshades.com.au, which protect me from sunlight in the car.
