I just pulled the trigger on a '14 e84 with 94k miles. I'll pick it up later this week. (My last BMW was an E30 - a few thousand years ago) This will be for regular transportation in New Jersey - no commute involved.
Any words of wisdom?

Congrats! Just keep up with maintenance and you should be fine. Do not follow BMW's OCI and turn off ASS.
