Picked up our 2014 sDrive28i Msport in November 2013.
21,500 miles. Around 25.1 mpg. It's my wife's car but I use it often for gigs since I'm a drummer and my M235i isn't the most ideal for those situations. I've replaced the 19" Pirelli P zeros twice in the rear and once in the front. No mechanical issues, just cosmetic things; creaks in the dash, rear bumper trim loose, etc. Last edited by Untdrums; 03-29-2015 at 11:37 AM.. Reason: Wrong attachment |

Got it in April 2013...52,500 miles on this baby....no problems at all.
Getting new tires today...they still have some life left, but got a bubble in drivers front tire, so might as well change them all. Sticking with the run flats, no spare...and no room to put one in trunk. |

MY10 18d sDrive. Took delivery 13th July 2011 with 7000 miles on the clock. Now on 89163! A few clutch issues and the odd thing done under warranty, but still going strong.
Amazingly in 82000 miles I've never changed the the brake pads or discs. BMW serviced the car in January and told me there's roughly 4200 miles left on the rears and loads on the front. Never ever owned a car that's brakes have lasted this long. I've owned Subaru Impreza's in the past that have ate pads for fun. J. |

I have my 2015 xdrive28i for a year now and have put 11k miles on it.
JB4 stage 2 and AFe intake for almost 9 months, i put H&R springs 2 weeks after i got it. The ride is a little stiff but i love the handling, feels like my old 3 series. |

I've had mine on a lease deal since March 2012 and have recently hit 86k miles. So far I've had no problems that required a visit to the dealer outside normal servicing and only had the run-flats replaced once. Windscreen has more craters than a spotty teenager and cleaning the brake pad resin off the wheels take a couple of hours every other month.

I just bought mine a couple of weeks ago and it had 11,400 miles on it. It is now at 11,890 or thereabouts. 2013 originally delivered 12/27/13.
I have done one fill up so far and I am at 23.8mpg. That is 70% in town and 30% freeway. |

i purchased mine in may of 2014, it was one of the first to be shipped to the US. I had an order in for a 2014 with red interior but it was damaged at the port, so they upgraded me to a 2015 black/black. i got a pretty good discount and its fully loaded, the 2014 was missing audio, comfort access and xeon lights.
the #1 reason why i know its more then 12 months, my 1 year free of Sirius expired =) Last edited by PauloB; 05-16-2015 at 06:26 PM.. |

I have just traded my X1 for an X3
My X1 was a 06/11 23d and over 48k miles it averaged 38 mpg (imperial) Only fault was a new rubber windscreen rubber seal at 6k miles and then a rattle inside the drivers door. Still on original pads/discs Ran on Goodyear efficient grips and rears did about 18k and fronts about 30k Really good car but growing family meant I needed something bigger Here it is

We bought our X1 xDrive20d in November 2009, 120K kilometers on it at the moment. Had a serious vibration problem around 80-90 Kph, took months to be solved by the dealer. Other than that I had to pay around 4K Euros because of a water leakage from the windshield. I think it is because of the faulty windshield replacement of the dealer but they don't admit that's their fault. Other than those, we are very happy with the car. The consumption is around ~7.5/100km - ~38 MPG diesel.

Thread Resurrection... Reading through the comments a lot of you have had to replace windshields/screens - was this due to cracks/breaks?
Maybe I should have opted for windscreen cover with my insurance |
