X1 sun visors

I'm loving my X1, but good god this thing must have the worst sun visors ever. They barely come down the window and they curve so much in the corners that they do almost nothing to block out the sun.

Has anyone figured out a good fix for this or do you just live with it?

I do have occasional problem with the visor doing its job but then that would speak for all BMWs I'm sure. I got my whole front windshield tinted, technically illegal, i got the airblue 85 which is tinted at 85% (barely noticeable visually) but it helps with heat block drastically. I never have any problem with my dashboard heating up from direct sunlight now (and those eye-blinding sun glare). You can get your upper front winshield tinted like the race cars

Probably the single most irritating feature of the car. Otherwise, I'm still very satisfied after almost two years.

Polarized sunglasses are the only real solution .. tint also helps.

I'm in the process of custom fitting f10 sunvisors onto my X1.

+1 for polarized sunglasses. IMO these should be mandatory equipment for drivers.
