We should be glad at least there is a button to turn it off... and the ASS button as well.

FWIW, my sister just got a new 2014 Range Rover and the ECO button ( similar to ASS) has to be pushed everytime you start the car in order to turn it off...you can not code it to memory to be off...

More of the nanny state...
