X5 Tiger Claws

Has anyone fitted a set to an X1

I know the rears being 10J may cause issues..

Just want to know what width / offset 19" inch wheels people are fitting..

Rear tend to be 19" 10J with an offset of 48

Front tend to be 19" 9j with an offset of 45

I'd think you'd be fine fitting them. Guys have run 285/295 with no fitment issues with offsets in the 40s. In fact, you may even run some front/rear spacers.

Read through that to get an idea, but they should be just fine (again, perhaps with the use of spacers).

They might rub the suspension, measure from your inner rim to it. You'd need some big spacers to make them flush up with the fenders, that's for sure.

The rears would be almost 40mm closer to the suspension. Keep that in mind when measuring. The front would be about 24mm closer to the suspension. Both of these are taken as if the stock wheel was 8"et34.

You're a prime example that they'll fit...still running 10" in the rear?

I have a 10" in the rear, 34 offset and I know I'm sitting really close to the suspension. If my car wasn't in the shop I'd take a measurement. I'm not sure I have 14mm space between my rear suspension and the lip of wheel. That would be the difference in my wheel vs. the Tigerclaw.

I think the guys with offsets in the 40's are running spacers to get clearance for the suspension.

Oh, no doubt he could need/want spacers. My point was, those wheels have enough offset that he will be able to get them to fit...as opposed to starting with a wheel without enough offset in it, where you're SOL.

Thanks will have a look now. I have no issues with running spacers I just don't really want to run stretched tyres to make it work, CBA with hassle from police.

Will read that thread now too.

I'm happy to run spaces to clear suspension but I just want to make sure I'm not poking.

I'm getting H&R springs for now, I'm not sure how much difference that makes in clearance required ( more or less )
