Yeah very easy.

The harness plugs into the connector that goes into the subs, and then the door speakers are all plug and play, 4 torx screws then pull the door card off, fit new speakers and push back on and do the door card back up.

I will try and find some instructions online.

I have it fitted it, is in there at the moment, however, the car was my wifes so it was a good upgrade for very little outlay, however I am using it all the time and have decided to fit some Morel speakers, earthquake subs and a rather nice DSP amp, so this is now surplus to requirements.

The amp sits in the boot under the floor.

I will find the instructions tonight.

OK, this is back up for sale.

It had sold to someone, but after taking it out of the car he then stopped communicating!

So put it back in again.

However, really like the littel X1 and reckon I will keep it for a few years, so going to use my JL amps and Morel speakers and do a proper install.

£275 delivered in the UK.
Euro delivery is possible too but need to look at prices.

These kits are £380 now including vat new.

However, one condition is I will take it out once I have been paid, I am not taking it out again to be let down once more.

Thanks for the quick reply. I am tempted as people seem to rave about the Alpine upgrade.

Out of interest, does the 1 to 2 second delay (when the Alpine amp receives an audio signal) affect phone calls using the head unit's bluetooth?

No, it is only a delay when you first turn the system on.

I think there are better option now.

Buy the BMW L7 tweeters and an Alpine F300 amp.

http://www.alpine.co.uk/p/Products/v...ers32/mrv-f300

That will give you better results now and allow you to upgrade the underseat subs if you want to later.

Oh, and cheaper.

L7 tweeters

Sounds good, thanks.

Anyone have a pair of L7 tweeters for sale?
