Follow Me Home System

Hi!

I noticed in the list of features that my X1 has a Follow Me Home system.

However, apart of the angel eyes staying open for about 10 second's when opening or closing the car, i don't notice anything special or different (like the Mercedes Benz system when the fog light's opens when closing the car)

Do i need to activate anything?

How to activate the system follows me home?

Best Regards

before leaving the car, you press the headlidgs switch (the switch for the signal left or right) the follows lights remain open so long as the seconds you set

When you are exiting the car, pull on the high beam.
Then exit, lock your car.
The high beam will remain on and will light your way home, then it will self turn off (with a timer)

Try it next time when you walk your way in at night

If you check the user manual you will find it's possible to alter the settings for this whether you want it on or off, for how long, on opening or locking, etc etc. It's all programable through the headlight arm of your steering wheel.
