Average 26km/h speed driving fuel consumption 13

Hi

With average 26km/h speed driving and fuel consumption 13L/100km isn't normal ? 18i 8000 km drives so far

I drive a 1.8i also, averaging almost identical figures to you. I'm around the 26-27km/h, and getting around 12.5-13L/100km.

The urban consumption figures or around 9L/100km by BMW were not intended for such low speeds.. i think its normal.

ARe you driving an auto or manual?

For the first time I've driven a full-tank in auto mode (been using manual before), the gearbox hangs on too long. I'm enquiring tomorrow at dealer for a possible software upgrade.

With full tank only could drive around 300km + is it consider 12L+/100km ?

With a mix between city and highway I got about 450ks on a full tank, in manual mode I'd get well over 500km.

So your 300km is well over 16l/100km!!

Manicm, i have the same problem, especially uphill, where even if i back of the accelerator, it still wont change down!
