17" non-run flats are the way I've gone.

Speaking of which I'm pretty sure the different size rims have different widths (17 x 7", 18 X 7.5", and 19 x 8"), but the same width tire which seems kind of odd. Any comments?

I believe the only wheels sold in both staggered and non-staggered widths are the M-Sport's 255M 18" (18x8 all around, or 18x8/18x9 staggered). As far as I know, all the 19" M-Sport wheels (225M) are staggered.

Our 35 Msport on Bilstein B6s and H&Rs/rear M3 bar and bushings all around rides OK...handling is quite fun, similar to a stock WRX (albeit heavier).

It's on staggered 18s...wouldn't touch the 19s with a ten foot poll here in the NE.

I don't have any problems with them. They have slightly more side wall than my 335i. X1 35 aspect ratio in the rear while the 335i has a 30. I always drive cautiously so it hasn't ever been an issue. I do get rid of the run flats as soon as I can though. Going to throw the Michellen Pilot sport A/S 3+ on here shortly.
