CIC replaced

I recently had my CIC replaced and amazed at the way the veh works now. I didn't realize what I was missing. The Eco Mode actually works and displays the amount of increased mileage I am now getting, it used to be less than a mile and this morning it, it was up to 5.6 miles on a short trip on the Interstate. The iDrive system is quicker and more responsive from displaying the map to the radio working much quicker. The CIC must have been bad since I got the car, so I didn't realize it wasn't working properly. When it started going crazy and things stopped responding is the time I took it into the dealer. Now if I could only get the mirror to learn the garage door code, I would be a happy camper.

Hi rps
I had a very hard time programming the mirror garage door opener and finally ended up calling the manufacturer for help.
The person I talked to said it is imperative that the original transmitters that came with the the garage door opener have fresh batteries in the one your using to program the car.
You first have to erase any program that is in the system of the car by holding the two outside buttons until the light blinks.
If your opener is the newer type that has a rolling code, then you have to have a person at the garage door opener to push the learn button and another person in the car to push whichever button you want to control the opener. You have approx. 30 seconds to perform this operation. If not successful, then try it over again.
I hope it works for you.

I just discovered that the CIC replacement wiped my internal HD of all the music I had on it and also erased the USB stick that I had plugged into the console. Be warned.
