Wheel Bearing but not...

Been developing a roar over this fall from what I think is the front right of the ol' X1.
Sounds exactly like a wheel bearing, heck I even bought all the parts.
Now that I've had some time to look at it, there are no signs of failure.
Doesn't grumble when you rotate the wheels, no slop top to bottom or left to right.
Sound starts building around 50+ freedom units.
Not the tires, just dumped my RFT and put on snows, no difference.
No tears in CV.
Does not increase frequency with speed, only volume.
Any thoughts?
Had a bearing fail with no signs?
I'll probably replace it anyhow since it's only starting to bug me, maybe hasn't failed enough?

The exact same happened to me and it was indeed a wheel bearing.

Still sounds like a bearing. Slop comes later, as does enough grit to hear/feel turning with your hand.
