aFe Stage 2 Cold Air Intake - Pros & Cons

I'm looking to see if anyone has this intake and what they think about the product. I've been interested for some time but unsure about its usability considering the weather elements we get here in the north east. I currently have the drop in filter but wanted to get a little more improvement in performance.

Thanks for the feedback.

Garage List
Doesn't seem to do much except make the turbo noise very audible. There might be a couple of extra ponies, but it's so little I can't feel them.

I've had zero problems with my filter so far, I've had it on for 20k kms or so. Dealer hasn't said boo about it which is good. Heat soak doesn't seem to be an issue, and the factory airscoops work with the aFe filter.

Honestly, I think BMW did very well with the N20 intake system. The airflow of the airbag and the intercooler exceeds the needs of the turbo and engine.
