No more Phone App Lock or Unlock of Car

Hey everyone, maybe I missed something, but about a month ago the MyBMW app stopped allowing me the option to lock or unlock my car doors remotely.

I know we used to use BMW Connected App, but that has been phased out too.

Is this being shut down? What about the Stolen Vehicle Recovery? Does that mean that service is deactivated?

The generation of cellular service our cars use is being discontinued/phased out so I imagine all the services that need cell service will go away.

But I have an active subscription through 2024? Is there going to be something done about that?

Did I miss a mailing or something?

And, the dealership replaced the ComBox in my car a couple of years ago, that generation is already being replaced?!

THIS SOUNDS LIKE ANOTHER BMW CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT.

People paid for subscriptions to services, and there are probably thousands of people still with contracts that BMW is nullifying.

This is a really good way to create a large group of people that will never buy another BMW.
