Bluetooth Autoplaying

Hey folks,

I've done a lot of internet sleuthing and have yet to come across a solution for this issue. This happens in both my new (to me, 2014) X1 and my wife's 2012 X1. Whenever the car is started up, whatever the most recent thing that was playing on my phone begins to play. It doesn't switch the input to bluetooth, so the only way I notice it is if I glance at my watch and notice it playing. It's annoying when I've paused a podcast only to have it start playing in the background to then have to rewind and find the place I left it.

It seems the consensus is this is an iPhone issue not a car issue, but this didn't happen in my old Accord and now happens in two different BMWs. I can't find anything in the iDrive settings or in the iPhone settings to adjust to try to get this to stop.

Anyone have this issue? Any known solution?

It happens on my Android on my non-BMW too. Used to happen on my old Windows Phone too. I think it's just one of those things!
