Cool Performance control

I decided to add "performance control" system to my order. My dealer told that it will only cost 300 €. Now my configuration includes the following extras:
x drive 2.0d
Alaska White
X-line
Xenon headlights for high and low beam
Park distance control front and rear
Cruise control with brake function
Servotronic
Rain sensor
Automatic air conditioning
Multifunction, sports leather steering wheel
Black high gloss interior trim
Panoroma glass roof
Performance control
Leather seats

Delivery will be on August as 2011 model year

Shoud I cancel the current order and order a new one with performance control ? I Will loose 1000€ that I paid For the current order.
performance control is only going to be useful if/when you drive it like you stole it.

If you ask, they might still be able to add it ?

I have asked my local dealer and they told me it is not possible to install Performance Control. But, if anybody can double check, it will be nice

It's not an expensive extras, can be only wiring and soft...

Now I have my X1 for 1 month. However there is no button or sign that indicates the car has performance control system. How will I know the car has this system?

Well, you - as I don´t know. I´ve also ordered Performance Control. We can only trust our dealers as far as I know...

One of the X1's I test drove had it as an option, you can feel it when you drive down a windy road at speed. Did not see any button though. Its quite a cheap option at £100 (as far as options go) so probably nothing more than a bit of software/programming.

Yep agreed, you sure notice it - but only if you drive it right at the cars' limit, which from the looks of them, very few X1 owners would!

The rear kind of feels like its sliding, but i put that down to the fact that the fronts are not pushing wide, as they do without PC.

For anyone in Sydney, try the bends up from Rose Bay to Vaucluse. I had to try twice it was so much fun and SO much different to my original X1 that didnt have it.
