Has anyone DIY fitted genuine BMW mudflaps to their X1?

Hi, Has anyone DIY fitted genuine BMW mudflaps to their X1?

If yes;
  • How much Ģ were they?
  • Are they only available from BMW directly?
  • Are they screwed or riveted?
  • Is drilling required?
  • Do you have to jack-up the car and remove the wheels to fit?

Does anyone have a set of BMW installation instructions?

Many thanks

Hi there. I have just mounted BMW original mudflaps both front and rear. Itīs very easy. In the front there is one 3mm hole to drill. There are both screws and plastic rivets (I think the rivets is called "drive rivet", you just use a hammer for it. You donīt need to remove any wheel. The price was about €55 for each set. The order nr is 82 16 2 155 852 for front, and 82 16 2 155 851 for rear. I dont know if it is the same number in the UK. I think the car looks great with the mud flaps
