Anyone order a new car and it arrive early?

Probably slightly optimistic here but my order has gone in for a new X1 and my dealer has sent me an email saying they have an allocation date for mid March.

Not that I'm impatient or anything but do they sometimes arrive early?

Delivery time

My allocation date was supposed to be 2nd week of January. Somehow it was moved up and it arrived at my dealer, in TX, yesterday.

Garage List
I've never heard early. But definitely a lot coming in late. That seems to be more normal. I was told mid July and didn't pick up my car until end of August iirc.

That was what I was fearing, normally late rather than early!

Will have to figure out how to cope until it arrives!!

When I placed my order last fall, the dealer told me it would be 6-8 weeks. Turns out it was delivered to me 5 1/2 weeks later. I got lucky though because I placed my order on a Friday and it went into production the following Tuesday!

That's a positive sign, I'll have to keep my fingers crossed! I only ordered mine a week ago last Saturday and last week felt like 2 weeks rather than 1!

Its only about a two day ride on the ship from Bremerhaven to Southampton which will save you almost a week vs. the shortest U.S. delivery. Good luck!
