Tilling, you started a leg workout as much as anything. Should be warmed up if you head to the gym and continue that.

It wasnt too bad. I started yesterday but i had to stop because the tiller stopped working halfway through. So today I just had to make 4 passes and level the dirt out for the 2x8's raised beds. Got enough 2x8s yesterday to make 4-4x8' beds. That's whenever the rain ends. It's supposed to start sometime today and continue until sunday. Lucky I sealed all the 2x8s yesterday.

Tilling forwards (with the motion of the tines) or pulling backwards against their motion? I find I get a much better mix (and a lot more exercise) fighting the motion of the tines. My area is about 18x20. I tend to do a run along each edge alternating. So along the 18, then 20, then 18, then 20. I don't always make that last trip because my hands won't hold the reigns any longer

lolz, with my work schedule I have to get it in where ever I can. I had a good chest workout last night though. took some C4 at 8 and hit some PRs on the bench press. I usually don't go heavy on free weights because of my bum arm but last night I felt good. I started with 135#s x8 , pretty easy. added 10 on each side then another 10. In the end I got 3 reps at 185#s. Probably could've got 2 more with a spotter. jumped on incline hammer strength press because the incline benches were taken . started with 2 plates on each side adding 10#s after each set . maxed out at 140#s x 2. by this time my left forearm was on fire so i only got 3 sets of 60#sx 8 on the incline dumbell press. I was still feeling good so I threw in some T bar rows 140#x 6.

George Foreman style! Also, highly important reason for why I lift, so I have the strength to do physical labor of varying degrees of difficulty. Plus need to be able to do those 12oz curls

Monday I just had to rest.

Last night, as I was changing into workout clothes, the delivery guy showed up with my son's Beetle. I may have been more excited than him at the prospect of working on this project.

So tonight's agenda is back/bi. Since wife has to go to class tonight, should be no problem whipping up some left-overs then hitting the gym hard.

I said earlier that a major reason I lift was to be strong enough to do stuff around the house.

The other major contributor is so I can eat. . .

Failed again last night. When I brought my son home from baseball he wanted to get into the beetle. He removed the headlights, front signals, front bumper, then got stumped by the same last captive nut that broke off on the fenders. I was supervising, and totally forgot about the gym. . .

77 Beetle. We cut the last 2 bolts on the front fenders and removed the running boards last night

I was in rotation for back/bi, but I had a ganglion cyst drained on my wrist yesterday. I was dog-tired, but knew I needed to go to the gym. With no wrist, the only options were cardio, or SQUATS!!!

3x12 @ 135, then 2x12 @ 155. Moved on to extensions/curls, then since I hadn't visited the sled in a few weeks, and since I was back inside to find an open machine for extensions/curls, I tried it out. As Saturday, I didn't have quite the strength at the end of the workout that I used to have at the beginning, so was only doing reps of 8-9 with 3 and 4 plates on a side.

This morning I went in for a blood draw on the new drug trial. I weighed myself fully clothed on the scale where I reached 210, and I was back down to 193!!!!

The beach is (grunt) THATWAY!!!!

woke up 165 today, lowest weight since back in hs like 13-15 years ago, probably the best shape of my life ATM. i was always a skinny guy, turned into a skinny fat, ACL hit me, then started weight lifting and here i am few years later. sometimes i am glad i went down with the ACL, else i wouldve never picked up weight lifting. it was just not my thing.
took a quick video of my arm, haha. i just woke up with no pump! and yes i was flexing in the beginning.

Hi,
I use MFP when I want to be strict. It is very helpful. I have not been using it much recently. I am lifting more now (for me anyway) and need to eat and I feel like MFP forces me to restrict myself, albeit not intentionally.

An ad with zero posts. How does that happen?

I'm bummed. I took the bandaid off my wrist around noon and the cyst has re grown to about half the original size again. So instead of 2 days of squats I slipped into a diabetic margarita

Do you deal with cysts often?
