Hitch Mount?
I've installed a Kurt hitch on my 128i (http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showp...1&postcount=99)
However since the X1 is off the E90 chassi, it would need this: http://hitchestogo.com/merchant2/mer...uct_Code=11771 Has anyone installed a hitch yet? *This looks pretty close; but no other info: http://e84.xbimmers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=435996 *Westfalia has one but I need one that's a receiver rather than a ball mount: http://www.schmiedmann.com/X_series/...14.htm#1941483 *Details here: http://www.ebay.de/itm/WESTFALIA-303...-/150826781001 Last edited by mabrahams; 07-26-2012 at 07:48 AM.. |

I have a Hayman Reece hitch installed on my X1. It's a brilliant design - completely hidden from sight when you remove the toungue and ball part of the hitch as it installs vertically behind the bumper. Do a search on this forum - a guy has posted pics.

I think I mentioned your post in my first post; however do I can't seem to find a part number for "Hayman Reece X1". Did you buy the mount or have it installed?

I had mine installed by a local off road equipment shop
You can find the model number on the Hayman Reese website http://www.haymanreese.com.au/pubdet...20%20&Model=X1 (Hope the above link worked - it's Product 02711RW)
