DSC light flickering for a second, car stalling.

Something weird happened on Manhattan bridge yesterday, all of sudden I realized the car is not responding to the pedal then I saw DSC light flickering for a sec, it feels like the car has lost power so I kept my foot off pedal and then again try to accelerate, it was fine. Did any of you ever experience this?

Ice, maybe oil or diesel spilled?

Yup. That seems to be how it works. Happened to me twice on slippery roads where I sensed no wheel slippage, but the car did. Freaked me out a bit, too.

Funny it does that to me on this one patch of road that's always got sand on it, but I never lose power, just the light flickers

I've noticed some weird patterns when the DSC light turns on in my 35i (before the JB4 even). I've started turning it off so I can drive it how I want.

DSC OFF on public roads... stuff might come up when you'll suddenly wish you had it... please be careful!

Mine was doing this. I had changed the wheels and tires to M3 wheels with staggered 19"s. I didn't realize the Xdrive had to have tires that were close to the same overall diameter all the way around. I changed the front tires and now it's fine.
