BimmerLabs Flashing

Hello everyone!!!

Recently I bought a 2012 X1 with a N52N Engine and I am working on maintenance and repairs to leave her working the best I can.

It has some lack of power and a fault code 2FA4 Wrong Data Record which after some reading might be related and caused by a wrong Tune flashed in. Is this correct?? or something else could cause this code and lack of power??

If this is correct, I would like to return it to stock and I found BimmerLabs has, what I think, are stock tunes for my car but I have a lot of questions that hopefully you can help me find an answer for.

Attached an image of what I see in BimmerLabs for my car

1. Do I need the RSA Delete flashing if these tunes are "stock"??
2. There are 4 download files associated with each tune... which of those is the one I need to flash?
3. There are 5 tunes in Bimmerlabs, which one should I use??
4. Is there a way to know which tune is in my DME right now??
5. Is there a way to make a backup of my current tune??

This flashing thing is new to me so any help or advise will be really appreciated.

I do have BMW Standard Tools from BimmerGeeks and waiting for the cable. Also downloaded E89 Daten Files (no not know what to do with those

)

With another VIN (from a 328xi) I was able to find BimmerLabs 328 to 330 tune and RSA Delete files... Is it safe to use those files in my X1??

RealOEM says I have a 3 stage Manifold with 2 Disa Valves (I will check later today)

CONFIRMED: My X1 has a 3 stage Manifold

Hello!!!

At the end I took my DME, CAS and Keyfob to BIMMER ECU Solutions.

My X1 is finally working great and BIMECU service was great.
