2016 Cayman GT4 on eBay @ $147,000

Just came across this, didn't know anyone had one yet. 36 bids and it's at $147,000 with reserve still not met! Anyways thought I would share my discovery, as I found it interesting. The guy said he was already offered 30k over MSRP and turned it down. These things are going to fetch a premium that's for sure

They've been out for a month or so. A lot of people have taken delivery of their cars already.

my guess is NONE of those Autotrader cars are available. They register cars that arrive at dealerships even if they are already sold or just arriving from the factory for a customer order.

When i was searching for 1Ms back in 2011 i used to call ALL of those and none of them would actually have a car for sale.....they were all customer order cars off trucks.

the GT4 is virtually impossible to get an allocation for at the moment.

GT3 RS is going to end up being 200K+ EASY. For around 150-180 you can get yourself a GT3, USED.

GT4, if you don't have an allocation, I'm guessing many will be sold for 125-150K. You knew this was going to happen. It's a VERY special car, and a manual too, so that adds to its appeal. When they come out with a GT4 RS...

Agreed on how gorgeous it is, but yes, I'd pay 147K if I had it laying around. Agate Grey is one of the best colors out there too from any manuf.

Just plain dumb. But there are people out there that have more money than they need and will spend whatever to get said car, so sad.

Its funny as its a hard to come by car but then in a years time you'll find them easily and under what the dealers sold them for.

As much as I love the GT4, I would rather place my 147k elsewhere. 2 of my dream cars can be had for as much money and still have leftover cash to "perfect" my 1er.

That car is local to me - I'll have to keep an eye out because I'm betting he is driving it.
