Steaming music w/ bluetooth question

I had a Verizon Droid Maxx and just switched to the new Maxx 1080T phone. I was and can still stream music through bluetooth on both phones. What happens at random is that sometimes I can see all the Song/Artist, time playing info, etc. on the Idrive screen and sometimes all I get is "unknown artist - please wait". IT can show the information and then next time I use it I get the No Info problem. With or without the information showing I can still control next track with the Idrive. Any ideas as to why this is happening?

PS: this happens if I'm using Pandora or the MP3's on my phone.

Thanks in advance

It's a file type which idrive doesn't recognise the id tag. There's a thread on her somewhere which explains how to fix it, a few pages in

is the music still playing??...because I get some delay's on the music info too sometimes...but I have noticed that if the device is not a continous one...this will happen...but the more you continue using it...it will speed up..

Response to odieman23:

Yes the music always plays but when the info doesn't show it never catches up and shows, but next time I use bluetooth streaming it may or maynot shows the info but it never changes during a usage, it either shows or doesn't show.

I just got an iPhone 5S and have not figured out how to get any bluetooth streaming. My salesman told me this "can't be done in the X1". Now reading this thread, I am encouraged. I have a 2014 X1 3.35 with the Ultimate Package and Harman Karden. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Btw, my phone paired up with the car w/no problem. Thanks.

I have just the opposite, I leave the phone in my upstairs master bath and start up the car in the garage and it starts playing my music collection on the iPhone via Bluetooth.
