Anybody else experiencing their white X1 getting dirty quite quickly, especially on the rear boot lip?

Mudflaps might help a wee bit, do you have them?

Recommended. I ran my X1 without for the first 2 weeks, and sure enough the back got caked pretty quickly. Since I added mudflaps it still gets dirty, but nowhere near as bad.

Yep, keeps the spray from a wet road and dust on dry from swirling back. Main reason I got them though is to prevent stone chips from all the grit they throw on our roads in the winter. Not that that's a problem in Oz or SA

Amazing how popular white has become, not long ago silver did really well. I chose Jet Black because I like it and it was a no cost option

Cycles I suppose. In the late 80s white was very fashionable if you drove a "sporty" hatch... can't count the number of white Golf GTIs in my neighborhood back then !

Ask any dealer and they will tell you "white is the new black", in the UK anyway.

PS: The X1 does look good in it.

Maybe white's in because us older folk (40+) grew up watching James Bond films. I always remember his white Lotus?? (could go under water) as a standout car from the many films. i even had a matchbox one. I think colours come back in vogue when the people buying expensive cars get what they always wanted in their childhood.

This is also true for Bangkok, Thailand. I see it most comparing to other colors.

Hey, I had one of those Showing my age here. It was really cool, had wee fins that popped out and missiles in the back. Was a Corgi I think.
