BMWCA 2012 X1 @2.9% lease and finance

Good news for anyone looking to buy soon. For others who have placed orders, make sure you receive the new lower rate in your lease contracts.

• 24-48 mos. lease @2.9%

• 24-60 mos. finance @2.9%

Something's up at BMWCA for them to bring down the rate by 200bps!
They also retained the same residuals back when X1 was launched in September/October 2011.

I personally find the interest rate at launch too high to begin with (4.9%). They could have at least offset that by bumping up the residuals (say 4% higher, to bring down monthly lease payments)... but they didn't
