Does anyone think that an X1 is way too low?
As my gfriend wanted to get an X1 I was of course very happy about it. Her main concern was the rear window as it was rumoured to be small. However, the one and only dissapointment about the car was that it was not high enough which does not show on the pics at all. Been wondering how nobody thought that was an issue? Other then that the car is beautiful, am sure it is more dynamic, but that is why x bimmers are awesome, because they are high from the ground, but still dynamic to drive.

The X1 will be a big hit regardless. The X1 is more like a small gran turismo, than a true X-Car. If you want it jacked up, get the X3 instead, its like driving a 3-series that sits higher, and has X-Drive.

I thought that was what made it such a wonderful car! Features of the taller models, appearance/image of a smaller car. Sad that you think otherwise.

I made a test drive and i think the X1 is high enough.
More than that and it affects consumption, accelaration and speed limit. What do you prefer? High position or performance? Last edited by nunojca; 12-29-2009 at 10:13 AM.. |

No I think the height is perfect, my arse goes way down to a 3 series seat making getting in and out difficult at my age, and up on an X5 making it difficult for even more infirm old t's than myself, but I can slide in and out from the X1's seat with ease, one of the reasons I'm getting one.
