How did you black out your x1 emblem? not sure which way to do mine. I see many people are just buying black ones while some others are just spray painting or plasti dip...

Congratulation for getting an imported one with local manufactured price.
But is it a 2012 version before facelift as the turning lights are not integrated with the exterior mirrors, or is the Chinese 2013 version gets the same design?

Yeah its a 2012 Pre-LCI X1. The 2013 X1's look the same as other LCI X1's, though I don't think they offer the M-Sport package in China.

I bought the set from here:

http://bmwshadowline.com/overlays.html

Tons of color choices. Its easy to install/apply, and a breeze to remove as well.

Figured I should update this, even though I've been posting on the general boards more.

So I've painted all the gray plastic parts to Alpine White. Painted the silver front/rear trims to matte black, and also added and painted the X-Line side skirts matte black. Oh, and also vinyl'd the roof rails to matte black as well.

Here's how it looks now:

Also got these small interior mods:

Alum door doorsteps

AC Alum pedal set

Wrapping my steering wheel with this badboy. Suede wrap with white stitching and white leather ring at 12 o'clock.
