Was talking about this with a friend the other day and he said that since Bran can go back in time and alter the past, it is possible that he was the one that built the wall. In past seasons someone mentioned that the person who built the wall was also a Stark.

Great episode...enjoyed it much more than expected after last week's episode.

A few things I'm curious about:
1. Will Jamie still stand w/ Cersei given what she's done? Not so much to the High Sparrow and ilk, but to those that were innocent. It shows the extent as to which she will go for things and he could have PTSD re: blackwater and ruler of Westeros.

2. Did Cersei just light up all the blackwater in King's Landing? That was the ace up their sleeve when Stannis attacked w/ a Navy last time. With the Team Dany/Yarra/Reek sailing over...

3. With Little Finger having been snubbed for Lord of the North, what scheme will he hatch now? Or more like, what will Sansa hatch to put him in check?

4. Since Arya is taking the scenic route home, who else will she try to off?

That was so awesome to see Ayra getting revenge for her family. It's amazing how far the Stark girls have come.

It's rare to see innocence lost personified so well in these two characters.

Agreed - it's been interesting to see Jaime transform from warrior to diplomat since losing his hand. He's useless as a fighter, so he's gonna have to play this one smart if he wants to survive.

I think the word you're looking for is "wildfire", the Blackwater is a body of water around Kings Landing, and maybe? Supposedly, The Mad King Aerys had enough of the stuff lining the King's Landing to burn the whole place to the ground and he was going to light it rather than surrender - that's why Jamie killed him. Since we know the whole city didn't go up in flames, we know Cersei and co must have relocated at least a few barrels to keep the chain reaction from moving through the city. The question is: did they just move it all underneath the Sept to ensure the destruction of that structure, or is there more hiding somewhere?

3. With Little Finger having been snubbed for Lord of the North, what scheme will he hatch now? Or more like, what will Sansa hatch to put him in check?

No idea what Littlefinger will attempt, but we can be certain that King Snow will be his next target.

4. Since Arya is taking the scenic route home, who else will she try to off?

Per the books, the remaining members of Arya's list are:
Cersei
The Mountain
The Hound
Melisandre
Baric Dondarrion
Thoros of Myr
Illyn Payne

Cersei and The Mountain, along with Illyn Payne will be deep in King's Landing for awhile, and likely out of her reach. She doesn't know The Hound is still alive, so my money is on either Melisandre or the members of the Brotherhood without Banners.

Did anyone notice that Varys seemed to be in two places at once? We saw him in Dorne at the beginning of the episode, then again on Deanery's fleet at the end.

If I had to speculate, I think he'll go south of the wall to let Jon know that they aren't brothers but rather cousins and that he has both Stark and Targaryen blood in him.

Once Bran goes south of the wall I suspect all hell will break loose. Bran is marked and the wall apparently has magic. I bet that once he crosses the wall, that magic barrier is broken much like what happened with the former three eyed raven and Hodor and the white walkers are free to head south.

Cersei is a villain that you just love to hate. Loved the way Jaime looked at her when she was crowded Queen of the Seven Kingdoms. He knew she's pretty much gone mad and now with all of her kids gone, she's truly unhinged. It was like he knew the sister he loved is gone.

That leads me to believe that it'll actually be Jaime to play the role of Valonqar in Maggy the Frog's prophecy and kill Cersei. Although twins, Cersei was born first, making Jaime a "younger brother" if you want to get technical about it.

Kinda sucks, I'd love it if Arya did it but so far Maggy the Frog's prophecy has come true so there's no reason to believe the rest of it won't (Dany replaces Cersei on the throne...since Margery is taken out of the picture now, and she is killed by one of her younger brothers).

I noticed and was scratching my head as well. I guess Varys made allies out of Dorn and the grandma to side with Danarys against the Lannisters/King's landing when they arrive?

I mean I picked up on the implication, and in the books Dorne had supposedly been raising a previously unknown Targaryen male that they sent to Mereen to court Deanerys, so that all makes sense since the Dorne plotline was all but cut from the TV show and we'll need a way to tie that all up since EVERYTHING in this series is connected. They couldn't cut all that without doing something to fill in those gaps.

I was more confused by the SPEED with which he seemed to travel. He was in Dorne, then somehow got all the way back to Mereen in time to leave with Deanerys's fleet. The logistics are what boggle me...

Unless Varys rode a dragon.

Probably just sloppy editing in terms of conveying the timelines. It struck me odd for the same reason, though. Would make more sense for him to stay in Dorne until they are summoned, or go directly to Westeros. But whatever, I like to just watch and enjoy. Not too big on speculating.
