Is there a way for the X1 to lock its doors after driving off?

I had that function in my 2009 535, but I just don't see an option to lock my doors when driving off in the X1.

The turn signal then, and how do you program thru the turn signal! BTW never heard it call the stalk, at least not around here! Thanks hope you can tell me how to program with this since I have another non-I drive vehicle that I try this on

It became a "stalk" when it started controlling more than just the directional signals. Brights were the first thing typically added to that stalk, and then the car information computer, etc.

I would love to here too. I know this was possible on my 2009 328. But I haven't been able to figure it out on my X1

I could not find in the 2014 manual linked or the 2013 manual, also available there, what is in my 2012 manual.

I say 2012 manual beacuse my 2013 X1 (Jan '13 build date) manual has a 2012 publication date and differs as stated above.

Inside my manual around pages 20-30 there is VERY clear instructions and illustrations on progrmming the auto lock, the pathway light delay, unlock door combinations, turn signal count (1 or 3), etc. with the stalk while the other manuals seem iDrive centric.

Thanks for posting the video. Set it last night after watching it. Pretty easy if you see the video. I would think it would be pretty hard to figure out just by the symbols.

Why not in the manuals on-line (2013 / 2014 -that I could find)?
