What is the most common, reliable aftermarket software for the Turbo 4 engine I'll have in my X1? The salesman talked to me about something local to LA, "Berger"? Anyone know this one? Many thanks...
With your engine, you'll be using a piggyback tune. Burger Motorsports is probably the furthest along for the N20 engine. I believe they have the JB4 tune out, which will bump you close to 300hp.

No issues with BMS unit. Nice bump in power.

Thanks alot for the endorsement, man...My salesman had referred me to them and I was emailing with Terry (Burger) already since he's close to me here in LA. Right now I'm planning to drive out for the Stage 2 in a couple months after I have a few hundred miles on the odometer...may do a few cosmetic things; DEFINITELY looking for a good hook up for some "Monster Mats" and will tint as dark as is legally viable here in CA...probably stay away from exhaust stuff since I recently failed a CA Smog test on my last car due to aftermarket Cat...

I just picked up my 2014 X1 xdrive 35i M sport Valencia Orange on Saturday. I ordered it the end of September and it just got to dealer on Friday. It does indeed come wit the M badge which is nice. First BMW and it's a ton of fun so far.

Do you mean the fog lights? If so, yes those do work with turning the steering wheel left and right. The thing with them is, though, that the inside A-pillar creates a sort of blind spot where the fog lights illuminate the road. So, they don't really do much, though it is slightly helpful when it is really dark out and only a tiny bit of light is needed.

hello sir,

no the one beside the bixenon lamp the most inner lamp... BTW turning left or right doesn't activate my fogs as a cornering light it's just probably fogs.

Just pulled the trigger on the ER Down Pipe. They offered the Thermal Coating free and a $100 discount for BF (though the $386 basic model price at **********s was tempting). Getting in touch with Mike to see about Stage 2, which I'll need before the DP install. I guess that about does it for now...but well have to see what works it's way down the pipes.

Edit: Just placed my order with Mike on a Stage 2...CAN NOT WAIT.

I'm about to put some BC's on mine. Which actually leads me to my next question. From what I understand, the X1 has a larger diameter strut mount than the E90. Does anyone know the difference in size? If I need to make the sleeve adapter, I'd like to get it made before I start taking my car apart.

I work very closely with BC here in Orlando. I just picked up an X1 M-sport and have confirmed that they do have an X1 fitment, but have not test fit it yet. I plan on installing their x1 kit as soon as it arrives so I'll let you know how it goes. I'm worried that the kit they have is for an Xdrive, since that seems to be the most popular model. If they don't have an sDrive kit available, they will make it.

LUX angel eyes
Carbon fiber interior trim
Blacked out all emblems
H&R Springs
M performance aluminum dead pedal + AC brake & gas pedals
Steering wheel with paddle shifter

What I'm gonna do in the very near future:
Paint all gray plastic parts to match body color (alpine white)
Paint all exterior silver trims to gloss black (front lip, side skirts, rear diffuser, roof rails, and side mirrors)
Quad tip exhaust
Tint
So did you ADD the steering wheel with paddle shifter? It did not come with that? I seriously miss the paddle shifters I had in my A3 but didn't want the other stuff that came with it...

n55 to n20

Hardly any parts for the n20, anybody have a link for exhausts/intakes that aren't made for n55? Have the 28i, looking for some more sound and power.
