Oil catch can .... Your thoughts?

Been reading about the devices over at the f30 forums. Just wondering what are your thoughts. Do you use it? What's your experience with them? Does it have to be BMW specific?

1. They freeze in winter.
2. Always too small and forget to empty.
3. Valves still collect schmoo.

Get a slash cut nipple and dump it into your exhaust after the cat if your really that concerned. Better yet, run menthanol injection and steam clean your valves.
