My kids swear a good keyboard and mouse are vastly superior to a dedicated game controller. Seems to be true.

I'd vouch for the mouse and keyboard as well for shooter games, nothing beats it. It's just the style of game that demands it, like you'd use a classic controller for a car or sports game, or a joystick for a flying game.

And right now, it's mouse and keyboard time for me, since I've started a millionth game of Darkest Hour (not the Red Orchestra expansion about the Western Front but the Hearts of Iron II overhaul)

Y'all know what? I hate other ppl who bought more than one of the already sold out Fallout 76 power armor edition and sell them for excessive prices at ebays or elsewhere. Damn you Bethesda that you couldnt prevent this by selling the edition only stepwise and every really interested player had the chance to get one of those and not every non-player which is only interested to cook others off to earn the maximum profit of a masterpiece of art.
/rant off!

There is two ways I can play PUBG.

Don't care. Go in hard and fast. Have a lot of fun. But never win.

Camp and be bored and win.

I was an original DotA player as well, back when Riki had a death ward... many people don't even know about that. You could also block players with wards back then... haha

I always said I would never get into dota 2 but there are a lot of good players out there and I enjoy the thrill of competitive play... I recommend you try it out.

All I know.... E3 was amazing and I am not nearly a "gamer". The new Assassins Creed game looks mesmerizing...

And I will definitely be getting the new FORZA Horizon. FH3 is the most beautiful and best controlled race/car game I've ever played.

Yeah, I now almost always head for the bridges in the "Island" and shoot it out.
I'm not nearly as aggresive in the dessert, as there are no apparent points (bottlenecks) like the bridges, and dropping on the hacienda, seems its just as much skill as luck to get a few kills there.

Saw an ingame shot from PUBG yesterday, one of the female chars are showing kinda camel toe into her shorts. I mean, who cares about and who the hell is zooming in as much as this appears??
Whats wrong with the players? More the complainers who are thinking this is disturbing within a FPS aside of killing virtual people...ey?

I just hit Champ 3 in Rocket League last night, pretty pumped about that. Now my avatar actually matches my rank lol.

Also cleared a 101 grift with my wizard on Diablo 3, first time I've done >100 so that's neat.

Here's a couple cool rocket league goals I've scored recently.

IL2 Sturmovik in "Quick Mission" mode so I can record & save my best sorties for learning (and bragging) purposes. IMHO it is very rewarding and deep WW2 dogflight simulator: recently I made it even more engrossing by disabling all computer aides and flying purely on cockpit instruments. So far I use exclusively German planes and do mostly ground-attack missions in BF-109 G6, FW-190 A5, HS-129 and recently JU-87.

It is incredibly exhilarating and quite challenging to fly JU-87 "Stuka" on knife's edge knowing that if I open radiators one inch more I will stall but if I close them one inch I will cook the already overstressed engine resulting in a harrowing deadstick landing. All the while craning my neck (I have TrackIR) to peer into tiny dots in the distance which may or may not be enemy tanks, at the same time centering the inclinometer to make my turns as aerodynamic as possible.

And then I decide those dots are enemies, proceed to climb to 500 meters and dive after them at 30-40% attack angle. I lean slightly right and down to look through the sights, I turn-on magnification and start holding my breath to steady my nerves so I can make tiny, precise adjustments to rudder and ailerons. I see my intended victim, it is T-34 but I must wait until it is within 300-400meters or else my bullets miss convergence point, finally I pull the trigger for a 6-shot salvo but I miss: as I curse because I just lost 25% of my ammo count, it is time for another pass.

Do you ever use the IL 2?
