How to remove the plastic rivets in the rear wheel wells

The plastic rivets in the rear wheel wells don't look like those on other BMW's. In the past the rivets had a center rod that you popped out first in order to remove the rest of the rivet top. The rivets on the X1 don't seem to have the same center rod that you can pop out in order to remove the rest of the rivet.

Anyone know if these rivets are re-usable or how they are to be removed?

When I installed mud flaps I punched out the center pin and removed the rivet. I have not looked at the others.

Assuming they are the same across all lines and that you're referring to the plastic rivets in the fender trim/liner, the rivets are not reusable.

I pried mine out and re-used them when I installed my Execuhitch. Two got a little buggered up but they were easily re-used.
In case it matters, I have an MSport.
