How Could I Not?

2015 X1 sdrive28i Valencia Orange CPO elite w/3500 miles:
Ultimate
M sport
Lighting
HK
heated seats
19s w/summer Pzeros (would've preferred the 18s)

Leased for 36mo 10k/yr 248/mo w/0 down
1910 due for acquisition, 1st mo, and tax+ dmv.

Generally I'm a buy and hold guy but thinking about selling this car on scared the pants off me- more the rwd than the color (esp here in ny) and this lease deal seemed almost too good to be true. Giving up probably future classic 128 for this- (got 12,5xx for it w/51k miles on it), wish me luck. Any X1 sdrivers know if I'll see 30mpg hwy? xdrive loaners I've had sure didn't...

Others considered:
-Golf R w/6MT (still very tight supply- didn't even get to drive one)
-3.6 ATS's on super clearance - getting very tough to find RWD versions...
-BRZ 6MT- obviously (wifey no likey...too small, we can't even fit w/kid blah blah)- great fun that thing.

Then I stumbled on this deal and its back for another round w/BMWonderful- the "service" I got on 128 earned them that slightly sarcastic nickname...

That's a tempting deal for sure. Love VO on the X1. Can't help you on the MPG...

We have an N55 with a fair amount of E85...we're lucky to see 17 mixed.

30mpg highway is pretty reasonable. I average 20mpg combined, but I drive a bit more aggressive than most. I have the sdrive 28i with and without a tune. Didn't notice too much of a difference in fuel economy with the tune.

28i xdrive with Dinan...90% of my miles are highway - if I baby it, I can do 34-35 mpg.

925 aquisition, tax and dmv...as I said deal was almost too good to be true but there it was so from 1st sight to handshake might have taken 90 minutes total & most was getting them to 12,5 on my 1er after opening at 10 I didn't think a deal was possible but I held strong and they finally agreed to my #. Still, kicking myself a bit because I had a verbal with a friend/colleague of mine for 14k 2 months back but with without a replacement and knowing it really wasn't the right car for him (he really just wanted the badge and knew it was well looked after) I canned it. I wasn't even looking at this car to be honest I was thinking maybe cpo rwd 328...also super rare (found 1 but no paddles and had some cosmetic issues).. so I figured probably wait thr golf r manual, get some reliability data and go from there. But as much as I wanted to stay with a manual I really wanted a rwd car probably more so. Stumbled on this car locally, figured i have to check it out..it showed like new drove nice despite the 19s and pretty much loaded to the hilt...and I admit i was taken by both the value presented and the uniqueness of build so I took a little less than I could've gotten on a private sale..and
My friend got a sweet deal on a g37xs I showed him that he's quite happy with so far...
Getting excited (little nervous too) for my e82->e84 swap...never thought I'd say that but never thought I'd find a loaded rwd msport example on red tag special either😎😃😆
