A few weeks ago when I was planning my road trip to the Techno Classica car show in Essen, Germany... I was thinking to myself where else could I go visit while up in North-Western Germany. I quickly found this cool new military museum! From all the photos I saw on the interwebs... this place was surely NOT to disappoint! It did not!

The Dutch Nationaal Militair Museum is quite new. Only a few years old But what I liked was how well laid out the entire museum was. This place is definitely a kids paradise! Even grown up ones! The museum is about the same size as The Smithsonian's Dulles Air & Space museum in Virginia. Its big.

As you drive closer and closer to the NL museum... it's clear this area of the Netherlands was used for Military training and ranges. There was even an old military base I drove past on the main road into the complex.

The Museum is only about an hour away from Amsterdam or The Hague. Both great places to visit while on ED. IF you are traveling to the Hague(Haag) be sure to visit the AWESOME Louwmans Auto Museum there(which is covered in my ED Museum thread, under my signature).

I was very impressed with the Dutch Nationaal Militair Museum. I highly recommending a visit.

And now onto my photos...
