X1 emblem on trunk

debadge it by stripping it off or plasti dip with matte black?

I have not only removed the "X1" on the trunk, but also the "xdrive 28" on both front doors. I did it because I believe it gives a better continuous look on the trunk and the doors. In any case it is a matter of taste!

yes the sides too.... also I've seen somebody plasti dip them matte black, gives it character and also look cool but if you are looking for clean continuity I guess removing them is the answer

wow we have the same paint, is that black sapphire? just picked up a 2015 M Sport xDrive 28i fully loaded last week and I already have stuff lined up on what to do and mod so my wife thinks that I'm nuts ha ha

black out the rims by plasti dippin and also the chrome part of the kidney grills then tint all the windows 35%.... I'll post a picture once I get all these done

Great plans.
Eventually you have to drive it and you can't buy taste.

For the grill I would advice to buy a black one. Painting or plasti-dip it you will see after a while. ("chippings", well, that is what Google Translate says, you know, small stones on the road hitting your car)

Black grill and side strips (under the side windows) are my next plans as well.
Tinting lights and reflectors also.
