Exhaust Tips Touch Up

Hey All,

The exhaust tips on my X1 were looking pretty rough. I should have taken a before picture, but am very happy with the results from several coats of rustoleum ultra high heat paint in black gloss.

Beats replacing the tips, that's for sure.

Nope, there's a series of tension brackets around the inside. All I used was a rubber hammer and tapped them off from underneath the car. Took less than a minute.

Once I had them off I washed them in the sink, let them dry and got to painting.

What do you do to clean them, and how to get them off?
