Road Force Balance
Do any of you road force balance tires?
I got new tires on my X1, and there is a lot of excessive wheel shake. I've had them balanced, and then re-balanced. The issue was not present on the OEM run flats. 2014 X1 35i with 45,000 miles. I'm debating if it's worth the extra $90 to have them road force balanced, or if I should just return the tires through the retailer and get another set. I bought the tires through a local retailer (box store) and they scratched my rims when removing them. After they repaired them, I realized I was having this problem. What have you all replaced your OEM's with? |

I always do.
I also moved from Run Flat to regular and never looked back. Actually after two months. What tires are your running? I had three sets of Continental DWS Made in Europe and thy were excellent. Last set was also Continental DWS but Made in USA and was terrible. Always shaking and getting flat over night (taking floor shape). Replaced after some arguments with Continental. They replaced them. did Road Force again and they are better but still not perfect. They suck! Now I will keep them for a while and looking to move to another tire. To bad, but it seems that USA is not capable to make a perfect round tire as the European Continental can. Bummer. Bottom line, is the tire. You have 30 days to replace them so try that. |
