Stage 2 seems to be smoother irl for me. When on stage 3 and upshifting 3rd to 4th or even 2nd to 3rd, the car would throttle blip as if it were downshifting and it would violently jolt the car. After trying all three stages, stage 2 seemed to be the smoothest, especially after playing with the torque reduction slider.

My in Central Florida Also... How many miles on your 2013? Found that too many issues kept me from really tuning it up... Gave it to my Daughter and it has had its share of issues... Has not been as reliable as I had hoped.

Good luck... It has the parts of a great sleeper with the smooth I6 transmission and hydraulic steering. Hope it will last longer for you without the usual oil leaks, radiator issues and sunroof debacle,

I dig the white faced gauges!

What's with the tow hook? Are you anticipating being towed often?

Just rolled over 65k miles, bought it with 54k. I’ve since been through two radiators (covered under warranty) and have experienced oil leaks like oil cooler gasket and valve cover but those were easy to get done myself and only costed $100 together. The sunroof did peel, but I was able to rip everything off and glue some red suede to it without taking it out. i’ll update the thread with pics in a bit. Also we’ve probably seen eachother assuming your car is orange blue or white like mine because i know of three others in the area lol

They’re Venoxy Gauge faces, I found them on ebay for around $80 I think it was, they have a whole bunch of styles. Pretty easy install, you just take out the cluster, open it up pop off the needles and put the new faces on after peeling off the oe ones. The needles were like $30 from some canadian website lol

Looks like I may need to get the pano sun roof panel reupholstered. Was it hard to do with the panel in place... I'm not looking for a perfect job but just to fix it. Got a quote of $1800 to fix but as the car is not worth that amount to fix the roof liner, I thought Id inquire as to how you did it with the headliner in place...

Nice build!
Do you have any video/audio of your exhaust sound with the muffler delete? I'm looking into deleting instead getting a new exhaust system.

I have to admit, it wasn’t the easiest thing I’ve ever done. I started by covering the inside of the car with plastic sheeting because you know that sticky foam gets everywhere. Anyways i started peeling the sunroof liner and then used a plastic wire brush to remove the foam. I then used the old liner as a rough template for the new material. Then carefully masked off the rest of the headliner, and sprayed headliner adhesive to the actual sunroof as well as the material. Then carefully stuck it in place while trimming and tucking to make fit. Was very tough on the shoulders to work for hours on the headliner while it’s still installed. I was quoted nearly 2 grand as well and this fix costed me about $40-50 maybe, albeit some elbow grease too. Hope this helps

Did you use Alcantara? My concern is that the original head liner has the foam back... I found some original BMW headliner, but may opt for something smoother and thinner that foam backed. I think I, going to by a little sample of each and see which is better.

That sounds like a good idea, and no it’s not Alcantara because I wasn’t sure it was going to work, so I went to the local fabric store and got some synthetic suede and used that
