wheel question
Who has had HRE wheels? I'm looking into getting a set in factory 18" size and using the stocks for winter duties.
I'll post pics of the wheels I want when I get home t to a computer |

This wheel, hopefully it will come in stock width. If not, I hear I can fit the 225 tire on an 8.5" rim with no issues.

A little stretch never hurt anyone. But now I'm looking into 19" wheel options. Mainly because some HRE owners have said they didn't like their wheels.

I ran Hakappelitta R's on 18's on my the X1 last year and they worked very nicely. That said, the X1 has been retired from winter duties for this year so it'll be 20" winters on the truck next :/ |

Also, winter here doesn't necessarily mean lots of snow. It usually means rocks, broken windshields and chipped paint. I drove a 340 HP T-bird with drag radials for a winter here, only really got into trouble once.
I only need winters to be able to go to Kicking Horse or Revvy.
