Is this the best place to Jack up or X1 from?

Right on the bolt, use a wood block.

Thanks... I have BMW jacking pad. Maybe I'll drill a hole for the bolt in the middle of the pad and use it..

That's where I jacked mine up to put jacks on the rear sides. I used a jack pad. Hockey puck works too.
