iDrive Controller Question

Hi everyone

Can I just ask you all if you check this for me please.

My iDrive controller went very stiff after it not being used for a couple of weeks. It was replaced and it's working again but I just want to check something for my own piece of mind because I can't remember if the previous controller did it or not.

I have sat nav professional installed and my contoller has all the buttons round it.

Say if you go in to the music menue and there are 4 options to selection. Whe you turn the idrive contoller, when you get to the 4th and last option does your iDrive controler give any resistance or stop turning?

Many thanks in advance

While I understand that some other BMW models (eg. M6) have a force-feedback iDrive knob which resists your attempts to turn it upon reaching the end of a menu, the X1 does not. You can keep spinning that knob until the cows come home on the last menu entry and it has no effect.
