Wow, is that true?! I was planning to seal a deal within the next couple of weeks and hope for an April delivery...

I ordered my X1 2.0d in Feb too (but in Melb) and I have been told arrival date is around mid May.

I'm no good to the power of the engine, but when I ordered my car, I thought it was better to stick with a xDrive engine than sDrive, especially since it is still a SUV, but being a small car, I think it should be okay!

Oh what colour did you get?

I ordered my car late February and I was lucky enough to get the last production spot for the March build, which probably explains why she is getting so quick after ordering!

ordered my wife an x1 early january. told my dealer to call me before build is locked in to finalise options. he forgot, and called me early march to tell me that mine was built (minus the sunroof and metallic paint which my wife wanted) and on its way. gave me the option to take it or order another, i took the latter option. now witing for it to be delivered sometime in may. can't wait to get the wife out of my 325i!

Saw a White X1 driving along Stafford rd in Brisbane last week. Looked great. Recognised it immediatly from behind. Need to go and have a look at the dealer i think.

I still can't distinguish a X1 from a X3, mostly likely because there hasn't been too many around so they have been hard to spot! Hopefully more will be arriving soon!

What colour did you get nagelixin?

It took me while to select the color, but I ended up going with Graphite Blue. They had some black X1's in stock but I would be worried about heat issues in summer.

Other options added to the X1 are:

- Xenon lights
- 323 wheels
- Panoramic roof
- Cool elegance pack
- lights pack
- Pro satnav
- Voice recognition
- Auto (Haven't driven auto in over 10 years)
- PDC (Front and Rear), plus rear camera
- Hifi speakers

Westside Brisbane BMW gave me a loan X1 for the day. It was a pleasure to drive, and handled the road extremely well. It seemed to like those tight Motorway loop interchanges near the dealership on the M7/M5 Interchange.

My list was X1, Mini cooper D, Toyota Prius (iTech) or VW Tiguan.

Nice choice there nagelixin. I'm looking to order an X1 too. Had trouble deciding on a colour but I think I'll end up getting Deep Sea Blue. Was thinking about Space Grey and Black too

I won't be getting as many options (there's too many and they add up to too much, unsurprisingly!) as you are, but will be getting :
- (Metallic paint)
- Panoramic sunroof
- Design Cool Elegance
- 321 wheels
- Sat Nav, business
- Harmon/Kardon sound system

I was told it may take 3-4 months if I had ordered by the end of April! I hope it really isn't going to take this long

3-4 months!

I'd double check with your dealer. Mine was going to advise of ETA today, however (surprise surprise) didn't call me back. I should really lower my expectations some what. I think I expect too much. :-(

Deep blue sea is a very good choice. After seeing pics on the web it is really nice.
Please post back here and let us know how you go

Yeah I didn't that was right but that's what they told me. I'm in Adelaide so it may be true.
They tried to push for a quick sale end of April to boost their sales for April but I was not in any rush.
Will definitely post back

Very nice choice! The photos of the Graphite Blue is beautiful, can't wait to see one in person!

My car is definitely in the country now, so I am now waiting for the dealers to set me a delivery date next week!

Hey good to hear nagelixin, but looks like its a 4 month wait for you in the end too, unfortunately
What colour and options did you end up picking if you don't mind me asking happygirl. Hope its not too long a wait for you now. You have to let us know how it drives!
Also quick question, I'm thinking about the Xenon headlights/LED tail lights now. Do you guys know if you get the Xenon headlights, you are "forced" to get the adaptive driving lights option too? I don't want/need the adaptive driving lights. Can I ask nagelixin how much your Xenon lights cost? I think its about 2k yeah?
