I'm at 83k....still going strong. I'm debating on getting a low miles awd x1 or waiting and getting an x2 off lease.

I love love love my x1. Just wish it had the m seats and awd.

I'm only at 22.5K miles. Bought it off lease in Dec with just under 20K on the clock.

I got an aftermarket extended warranty through USAA just to be on the safe side, but I'm hoping it will prove to be a reliable car.

A little over 2.5 years into my CPO and just hit 40K miles in the last week (had 20K when I bought it).

98.6k miles. Still loving it. Had it in for oil change, new plugs this week. They gave me a shiny new 3 liter X3 as a loaner - I couldn’t wait to get back into my X1!

Just bought an X1 35i MSPT with 57,300KM (35,800mi approx). Just wanted to know some of your thoughts in terms of the maintenance. Im huge BMW guy and have an E91 328 and just got rid of my E60 535 (also have a E34 M5 3.8). So my 535 was very unreliable and the diff went early and the transfer case and everything else on the 4WD System. So I was wondering of a to keep it in better shape. Yes I followed all regular oil changes and did LiquiMoly 5W-40...

So at this mileage now what do you guys suggest. Just had the oil & filter and microfilter done. Im doing the rear brakes today so at the same time should I do the Brake Fluid? I know BMW says the tranny fluid is "lifetime" but we all know that is complete bs... Anything guys?

Recently passed 125k miles. Still no problems, drive about 100 miles per day. Will keep her as long as she remains trouble fee.

I feel that pain, 80 miles/day minimum just for work. I'm at 60k now w/ 30k in the last year alone and just got an 09 E90 328i to move my DD to. 5-8 MPG better overall and I still have 4 years of payments on my X1 35i vs the paid off 328i. I don't need the power of a JB4 tuned 35i for work highway driving, I want it to last.

Just bought a 2013 xDrive35i with 2,900 (not a typo) miles. Had a pretty specific wish list which I thought might be hard to find, sure didn't think I'd get it all in a 2,900 mile car. Didn't even feel like too much of a let down when it arrived with its Ferrari transport-mate that was headed elsewhere. Now, if I could just get the keys from my wife...

Yup, twice left my rear plate in the middle of the road. When closing the hatch I always place my hand on the plate in an effort to prevent loosening.

Engine seized at the crank at 55k miles. Still at the dealer. In an open dispute with BMW Canada for the moment.

Sorry to hear that, let us know how it turns out. I am at 127k trouble free. Shooting for 150k, then will probably move on before she becomes expensive.

51k-ish miles. 2014 w/ N55. Finally looking to change tires. Could always use more power. It's been a good stablemate so far. Hoping it treats me well now that I'm out of warranty.

For the OGs that remember the thread, I should update my mpg post. I've still been tracking it all this time.

If I had To Guess it would be a oil pump chain failure.

The engine just stalled while cruising, no liquid on the ground, no leaks, no smoke, no odour, nothing
