Code 2C57

I was hoping to gain some insight regarding this new issue from experienced users. I just completed replacing my starter and everything worked out fine. But later the car threw this code when I gave it a little gas. I cleared it, but it continued to come back. Everything I did under the hood looks fine and I see no problems visually.

While investigating I was able to reproduce this code at will by giving it gas when car downshifts (to accelerate). It doesn't matter how fast Im going, it happens when that pressure builds just before the acceleration. I also noted I cannot reproduce the code in manual mode, no matter how hard I drive - I took most gears into the red during testing and no codes appear.

The car drives fine before and after the code is thrown and fine in manual. It makes me think this is electrical or the sensor on the charge pipe has an issue that doesnt apply to manual mode.

If this happened to your 35 pls let me know. - thx

Have you done a boost leak and vacuum leak test? How many miles? Any mods?

disclaimer: I'm only going off what I've read from e90post and limited experience working on my own cars
