Help with hpfp error . E84 , 2.3D (4560)

Hey guys !

I am not exactly fluent in English , especially in all this technical terms but ill try .

I bough E84 2011 2,3 D. My wife drowe it for a week and then going on the highway she had put full throttle down and got Engine Fault ( fuel engine power no longer available.) ( 4560 code)

So basically High pressure fuel pump died it let metal shavings in nozzle and whole system .

After repair , car seemed to work fine but when i tried to put peddle to the metal its again giving us Fuel pressure fault .

Nozzles where restored , HPFP was restored , New Fuel pressure sensor , new Rail pressure sensor, new rail pressure regulator , new HPFP sensor , New fuel tank , all tubes where cleaned out , new fuel filter was installed , Pump in tank was also cleaned out . EKps Fuel pump control unit is replaced and coded ( e61)

My friend/ mechanic thinks the problem can be in EKPS ecu ( , Rheingold Bmw diagnostic shows pressure of 3.9-4.2 is it normal ? Why does specificated and real revolutions in tank do not match , and why dose it give 4 bar pressure.

If anyone got any clues it will be huge help!

Again sorry for broken English

Hi Garrige,

did you solve the problem?
Would you tell me, what parts exactly made the problem?

Cheers
Yogi
