Tire pressure settings

Did a quick search with no success, so here's the question.
My X1 calls for 35 F, 41R. My bride's Audi has separate settings F/R, depending on how heavily laden the car is.
No complaints on how the X1 has been handling, but I wondered if anyone was aware of or had made adjustments to tire pressure based on how much was in the vehicle?
Thanks,
Moon

I tracked my X1 s28i with 225/45r18 and 255/40r18 tires with a temp gauge to figure it out.

I decided I liked 38 psi all around at 70 deg ambient cold.

The rear seems to be very bouncy even at this lower pressure.

I think the book says 38 psi front and 42 rear under heavy load so that's probably just right.

Doorjamb says 35/41. An automakers greatest fear (along with unintended acceleration) is having a car exit the road bassackwards, which no doubt explains some of the higher pressure in the rear (along with the ability to carry heavier loads.
We're headed out on a trip shortly, and I'm going to stick with the factory numbers for the moment, largely due to the full load.
More input is gladly accepted.

I have aftermarket tires/wheels, and the dealership recommended I stay at 35 psi front and rear.

No complaints; handles nicely.

The info is in your owners manual. I've seen it there before.

I'll have another look in the manual, and I may well reduce the pressure in the rear when the car isn't heavily loaded.
Thanks,

Okay, a thoro' perusal of the manual only produced the 35/41 numbers as correct for the tire size on my car (225/45 R18), so it isn't really an answer.
