Hi, thanks again for helping, really appreciated.
I still don't have the car, it's been delayed and now I'm supposed to receive it mid-April.
I went with 323 wheels (8x18 ET 30 front and 9x18 ET 41 rear). I will be using them with winter tyres (235/45 front and 265/40 rear).
For the summer wheels, I'd like to go with APEX wheels (I've had three different sets on my 135 with great satisfaction, they are strong and light) and I might stay with 18" because as much as I like your big wheels, I also like when the tire looks beefy. So from your experience, it sounds that 9.5"ET33 would fit perfectly (only 2mm more on the outside) at the rear. I am still unsure about the front wheel, but APEX has two options, one 8.5ET35 which will fot for sure, and one 8.5ET20 which is 16mm more on the outside and that might be too agressive but the concavity of the wheel is nice.
I'll test on my stock wheels with several spacers to confirm look is ok as well as no rubbing especially because I'll be running lower on KW V1 suspensions.
Cheers.

Use the link I posted.
Out of my head I only know those ET values for 8J rims.

Also, I did order my rims on Internet but if you do in a local shop then you could ask that they 'test' the same dimension setup on your car to see how it looks and it doesn't rub anything. Then you are 100% sure, mine was a little bit of gambling.

Because of your lowered suspension the look is different then on a stock hight, remember that as you compare with others.

Finaly my summer rims placed back on the car.
Temperatures are OK now and they don't trow salt anymore.
What a difference, I missed them.

However, it is always rainy outside, when it is dry and you go to (self) car wash the car is dirty after 1-2 day's.

So next time I do a car wash I will take photos right after.

You're lucky, my daughter goes to a school near a ski station in the Alps, and temperature can drop below 0 even in June and September, so I might have to stick with winter tires all year...

Joy and Beemer upgrades sometimes come in small packages.

I gave my spare LED to a good friend as a surprise.
He was very happy with it.
Since I lost a tire cap I asked if he had one in reserve, he would look into it.
Now, he told me he had one and he had a surprise for me ass well.

He gave me ///M caps since he will sell he's old rims. The key chain came with the package he told me.

I'm happy with my present.

Dirty car and quick pictures with the mobile phone but here we go.
To show the black grill and window side strips.

Photo1: Angel eye's are all working but it is hard to capture on photo.
Photo3: No, it isn't a dent in the front bumper, perhaps it is my head mirroring in it, lol.

I have noticed people are using different size wheels and tires front to back, is this not a real bad idea? Different size tires have differnt diameters, and turn different RPM at the same speed, thus the smaller narrower front tires turn faster then the larger rear tire. This does not work on a 4 wheel drive car, as they have the same ratio differentals front and rear, and must turn the same speed. I'm supprized no one is having severe michanical problems.

Front and rear, left and right tires never turn corners at the same speed.

So long as the circumference of the wheel and tire package is the same and the tire fits inside the wheel wells it doesn't matter. There are numerous cases of vehicles coming factory with different widths and occasionally different diameters of wheels front to back.

Mine are all 4 the same. Was thinking that it was best for the xdrive.
The 20" rims are less weight then the 18" (all OEM). Less tire on the 20's and no RFT so again less weight for the rubber as well.
Normally I put 20mm spacers on the back when I run my 20" wheels, extra weight but not problems so far.

Running a "square" setup is great because you can rotate the tires, but it doesn't affect the xDrive one way or the other.

Nothing new here.
I removed the black foil of the rear lights because it wasn't done good.
(He did he's best but for him it isn't possible.)

Since I was looking for another job all plans where on hold.
I still like the car very much.

Signed my contract today and will get Golf or something for 6 month and then I could order a new BMW (not a X1 because over budget, not a 2 coupé because of 2/3 doors).

So it could be I sell my X1 when I got the 'new' BMW.

Looks good but at the same time, the 20" rims/tire combo looks out of place.

I think if you went with 19" rims and more tire depth, it would balance out the look. Right now with the 20" combo, the tire looks like rubber bands.

Thanks!

Car is now for sale because I don't drive her much since I drive a lot for work.

A VW Passat is ordered (company car), 1.6TDI auto with led, pano, vented/heated/massage/leather/comfort seats,... so I will get some more luxe then the Golf again. A BMW was to expensive for the lease budget and the seats are really a + for the job as field engineer.
